THANKS BE TO GOD!

The Church of God International held their Universal Thanksgiving to God on September 03, 04 and 05, 2010, in Apalit, Pampanga, Philippines and in different part of the world. Different language and skin color were attended in the said event. Three days of thanksgiving to God for His mercy, guidance, blessings and loving kindness in His people.

Bro. Eli Soriano thought the Members of Church of God International in three (3) consecutive days about knowledge and wisdom in accordance of the holy scriptures.

The Members of Church of God International offered song of praises to God like what says in the bible in Psalm 92:1 and it says:

“It is good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, o Most High:

Even the venue was so crowded, you can see the gladness and enthusiasm of people of God to accomplish the duties of being true servant of the Lord, not only the Filipinos but with the different brethren abroad.Consultation with Bro. Eli were also held that you can ask questions about the verses of the bible and teaching about faith.

In spite of many persecutions of the enemy, it never stop the servant of God in glorifying His name. Even though many shortcomings but, the Lord Jesus Christ is the mediator of the Church.

Internet radio (also known as web radionet radiostreaming radio and e-radio) is an audio service transmitted via the Internet. Music streaming on the Internet is usually referred to as webcasting since it is not transmitted broadly through wireless means.

Internet radio involves streaming media, presenting listeners with a continuous stream of audio that cannot be paused or replayed, much like traditional broadcast media; in this respect, it is distinct from on-demand file serving. Internet radio is also distinct frompodcasting, which involves downloading rather than streaming. Many Internet radio services are associated with a corresponding traditional (terrestrial) radio station or radio network. Internet-only radio stations are independent of such associations.

webcast is a media file distributed over the Internet using streaming media technology to distribute a single content source to many simultaneous listeners/viewers. A webcast may either be distributed live or on demand. Essentially, webcasting is “broadcasting” over the Internet.

The largest “webcasters” include existing radio and TV stations, who “simulcast” their output, as well as a multitude of Internet only “stations”. The term webcasting usually refers to non-interactive linear streams or events. Rights and licensing bodies offer specific “webcasting licenses” to those wishing to carry out Internet broadcasting using copyrighted material.

Webcasting is also used extensively in the commercial sector for investor relations presentations (such as Annual General Meetings), in E-learning (to transmit seminars), and for related communications activities. However, webcasting does not bear much, if any, relationship to web conferencing, which is designed for many-to-many interaction.

podcast (or non-streamed webcast) is a series of digital media files (either audio orvideo) that are released episodically and often downloaded through web syndication. The word usurped webcast in common vernacular, due to rising popularity of the iPod and the innovation of web feeds.

The mode of delivery differentiates podcasting from other means of accessing media files over the Internet, such as direct download, or streamed webcasting. A list of all the audio or video files currently associated with a given series is maintained centrally on the distributor’s server as a web feed, and the listener or viewer employs special clientapplication software known as a podcatcher that can access this web feed, check it for updates, and download any new files in the series. This process can be automated so that new files are downloaded automatically. Files are stored locally on the user’s computer or other device ready for offline use, giving simple and convenient access to episodic content.[1][2] Commonly used audio file formats are Ogg Vorbis and MP3.

Social media are media for social interaction, using highly accessible and scalablepublishing techniques. Social media use web-based technologies to transform and broadcast media monologues into social media dialogues. Andreas Kaplan and Michael Haenlein define social media as “a group of Internet-based applications that build on the ideological and technological foundations of Web 2.0, and that allow the creation and exchange of user-generated content.”[1] Businesses also refer to social media as consumer-generated media (CGM). Social media utilization is believed to be a driving force in defining the current time period as the Attention Age. A common thread running through all definitions of social media is a blending of technology and social interaction for the co-creation of value.
